Rebuilding communication that reconnects people with life, identity and possibility.

Communication Pathways is an independent specialist speech and language therapy service. We support clients with compassion, dignity and optimism as they recover from, and live with, neurological injury or disease.

We support adults across the north of England and southern Scotland to rebuild communication, confidence and independence after acquired brain injury, stroke, or neurological illness. Assessment and therapy is evidence based, person centred, and aligned with national clinical guidelines.

Our Philosophy

At Communication Pathways, we build collaborative partnerships where communication can evolve gently and steadily.

Through personalised, evidenced-based therapy, genuine connection and unwavering compassion, we create the conditions for meaningful change. We walk alongside each person and their family throughout rehabilitation, offering steady guidance and skilled support as they navigate challenges, rebuild confidence and connect with the people and activities that matter the most.

Together, we nurture voices and stories to return, confidence to emerge, relationships to strengthen and independence to grow.
